This winter many parents will be looking for a way to keep their young kids socializing and connected while being mindful of the ongoing pandemic.  Tinkergarten threads this line beautifully offering in-person, outdoor early learning classes.  We're working to help kids thrive; by building foundational skills they'll use now and in the future- plus time outdoors does wonders for both kids and adults looking for some much needed balance.  Outdoor classes may not spring to mind as your first idea for winter, but our curriculum is specially designed to have you and your child up and moving and having tons of fun; there's no better way to beat cabin fever this season. Sign up now for a free trial.

This winter, we'll be honing two particular skills: persistence and grit.  Two skills all kids must certainly learn in order to thrive as they grow.  Each week, through fun prompts and creative activities your child's brain will be working in overdrive all while having the best time playing outside with her favorite grown up.  We believe the nature is our classroom and turn it into a place of wonder for our little explorers through child-led play!  The theme of the winter season is Animal Superheroes- we'll discover fascinating animal friends, learn how they thrive throughout the winter and even adapt a few of their skills for our play time.  Want to learn more about the Tinkergarten learning philosophy?  Click here.

At Tinkergarten, we're all about play.  And that means adults too.  So often parents want their kids to spend more time outside, but don't know where to begin.  We'll help unlock the simple secrets of helping your child find sparks of imaginative play- all while tapping into your own inner child.  Each week, in addition to your in-person class, you'll be given three addition at-home activities to try.  These are designed to remain on theme for the week and continue the fun (and learning!) of Tinkergarten all week long.  We help busy parents connect in meaningful ways with their kids and also help give tools for independent play- a gift both kids and parents need.  These simple activities are the ultimate boredom busters for winter.
